Hey Ryan, one of the ambulance personnel that took from from the scene of an accident to the hospital told me this as he was helping me out of the emergency bed trolley: “I have never had to remove a dead body from under a seat belt”. (I am sorry I didn’t get the dude’s name.)

I agree with you all the way. One that peope don’t take into account is that emergency workers that respond to accidents where seatbelts aren’t used, they must deal with the bodies of those who didn’t wear seatbelts. 100% of the time, they have either disfiguring injuries or missing parts, assuming they survive. Less than three percent who don’t wear seatbelts survive a collision at high speed. I have seen evrything from complex fratures to decapitation and separation of the brain from the skull.

Great posts. Well seat belts are of the most important safety measure in a car. Drivers and passengers should use this at all times. Seatbelts indeed can save lives. Another important thing is that cars should have proper maintenance. This is to ensure that car parts (wheels etc) is in good condition. This is to avoid mishaps when we are driving. Another thing is that one should avoid destruction when driving.
