hopefully not a long shot..

This might be a long shot but here goes:

I am looking for a company (or individual) to sponsor sending me to learn about Theming Drupal. This training will involve customizing a Drupal theme so that “your Drupal site does not look like a Drupal site”.

Drupal is one of the most popular open source content management systems out there.

In return, I will use my new knowledge to setup/implement a customized themed Drupal site for you (for free) and will work with you to satisfy your needs. Hopefully there will be some kind of long term relations formed.

I have a pretty extensive Drupal background and I can show you past work involving successful Drupal implementations.

Dates: Jan 17th to Jan 18th 2007

Venue: Providence, RI, United States

Registration Fee: US$800 before Dec 15th 2006, US$900 after.

Those interested should contact me.

2checkout addon module finished

This is an update to me one of my previous blog entries.

I have finished writing the 2checkout addon for the ecommerce module for Drupal.

The e-commerce development team has issued a release as of some earlier date saying it is a difficult process to easily accept user-contributed payment processing modules due to security risks. I fully agree as a malicious user can write some really nasty credit card code and do anything with the credit card number once its captured. However, the only way to verify the code is for a 2nd/3rd developer to review the code and only then it can be committed. MY code is not malicious , by the way. It is not perfect either as I have not accomplished the reverse DNS check (to make sure a response is coming from only the 2checkout.com domain name) but I am hoping some other ecommerce developer would fix that.

So I guess at this early stage of submission, I can only wait till another developer discovers my code and reviews it. You can feel free to use my code, its open source after all. I tried to make it as safe as possible. It is available for download.

Scroll down on the page, you will see a comment with an attached rar file.
